Book Review: “Murder at the Old Vicarage” by Jill McGown

Please note: I first published this book review on the “Goodreads”-website in 2023.

My rating: 2 (of 5) “stars”

I own an old paperback copy of this book. I’ve had it so long, I can’t remember where I got it. It was published by Random House in 1991, you can still buy used copies online, e.g., on zvab.com.

The two lead detectives aren’t particularly interesting characters, but unfortunately much of the story focuses on their relationship with each other.

Neither the characters, nor the plot are particularly memorable.

This book’s not a keeper, I’ll be donating it to a public bookcase/book exchange in my home town, maybe somebody else will enjoy reading it more than I did.
